Description
The City of Seattle, through Seattle Public Utilities, is soliciting unarmed security services for facilities and infrastructure supporting its Water, Drainage and Wastewater, Solid Waste, and Resource Management divisions. The scope includes fixed-post security, foot and vehicle patrols, mobile response, emergency deployment, access control, monitoring, incident response, and daily activity reporting. The vendor must provide licensed and trained personnel, 24/7 emergency dispatch or on-call supervision, reserve staffing, uniforms, radios, flashlights, wireless-enabled laptops, vehicles, and related equipment. Personnel must meet training, background-check, first aid and CPR, physical capability, English proficiency, and high school diploma or GED requirements. The contract is for five years with one optional two-year extension; the City reports approximately $400,000 in 2025 service spending but does not guarantee utilization.
