Description
The Town of Oro Valley is soliciting sealed bids for drainage infrastructure repair and rehabilitation at Sierra Wash under Glover Road. The work includes construction of a reinforced-concrete drop structure and chute spillway at an existing three-barrel reinforced-concrete box culvert, gabion mattress and end-sill scour protection, gabion cutoff walls, dumped riprap, rock-faced concrete slope paving and bank stabilization, channel excavation and grading, clearing and grubbing, construction access, traffic control, construction survey and layout, project signage, hydroseeding, and related incidental work. Six Palo Verde trees must also be planted at Naranja Town Park. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, construction water, traffic control, erosion-control best management practices, and required permits and coordination. The project must be completed within 75 consecutive calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, with liquidated damages of $640 per calendar day for late completion. An Arizona contractor's license is required at bid opening; performance and payment bonds, insurance, and other contract-execution requirements apply after award.
