Description
The City of Tucson, through Tucson Water, is soliciting vendors to provide as-needed replacement parts, complete rebuilding services, and new replacement gearheads for water production wells and booster station pumping equipment. The scope includes OEM, aftermarket, and remanufactured parts; disassembly, inspection, evaluation, machining, fabrication, restoration, reassembly, testing, and certification of gearheads; and furnishing complete new units when existing equipment is beyond economical repair or needed for new sites. The contractor must support gearheads from multiple manufacturers and provide labor, materials, equipment, transportation, delivery, written repair evaluations, and cost estimates comparing repair and replacement. Units must meet or exceed original manufacturer specifications and carry at least a one-year warranty. The contract will be used on an as-needed basis for one year, with four additional one-year renewal options. Responses must include the completed pricing proposal, signed Offer and Acceptance Form, signed addenda, a copy of the IFB, and responses to the evaluation criteria.
