Description
Pima County is soliciting bids for pavement repair and preservation on high-volume roadways in Board of Supervisors Districts 1 and 3. The work includes 2-inch asphalt milling, pre-coated chip seal, 2-inch asphalt overlay, traffic control and striping, survey monument and utility adjustments, concrete header curbs and ford walls, shoulder work, speed-hump replacement, signage replacement, and installation of an advanced detection camera. The project also requires roadway documentation, traffic-control plans, project schedules, weekly reports, material testing, quality-control documentation, and final project video documentation. The estimated project cost is $5,200,000 to $5,700,000. Work must be completed within 80 working days after the Notice to Proceed and no later than March 26, 2027. Bids must be submitted electronically through BidNet Direct by September 16, 2026, at or before 2:00 p.m. Tucson local time. A 10% bid bond and 100% payment and performance bonds are required; an Arizona contractor’s license and insurance are also required.
