Description
The Arizona Board of Regents, on behalf of the University of Arizona, is soliciting proposals from qualified suppliers for the manufacture and delivery of optical interference filters for the Lazuli Widefield Context Camera. The scope includes standard astronomical broadband filters, ultra-broadband filters, and narrowband filters in rectangular and round fused-silica substrates, with specified dimensions, optical performance, coating, surface-quality, wavefront, environmental, and vacuum-operating requirements. The supplier must perform coating, cleaning, inspection, testing, and verification; provide witness samples and coating coupons; submit transmission curves, inspection reports, test data, part drawings, and supporting documentation; host a Manufacturing Readiness Review before fabrication; and safely package and label the finished optics for shipment. Responses must address technical compliance, delivery schedule, total cost, warranty and post-sales support, and any exceptions to the requirements. Pricing must include total, optional items, shipping and delivery, assumptions, and pricing validity.
