Description
Pima County is soliciting proposals for water treatment chemicals and supervisory services on an as-needed basis for cooling towers, chillers, boilers, closed-loop heating and cooling systems, fountains, filtration systems, and related equipment across maintenance shops, central plants, public works facilities, and other County buildings. The scope includes chemical treatment programs, weekly site visits and testing, laboratory analysis, corrosion-coupon management, reporting and recommendations, emergency telephone support, chiller-tube inspection and brushing, sand-filter troubleshooting, replacement-parts support, and treatment of newly added sites or equipment. Proposers must provide treatment materials, testing equipment, technical documentation, safety data sheets, and applicable product information. The County intends to award multiple contracts by service group, although it is not obligated to do so. Proposals must include a signed and complete Offer Agreement, minimum-qualification documentation, a narrative response to the evaluation criteria, completed Exhibit C, and supporting documentation. At least three professional references are required; the reference form must be sent to the Procurement Officer by the closing deadline. Insurance certification and a performance bond, if applicable, are post-award requirements rather than submission-time requirements.
