Description
The City of Tucson is soliciting bids for a 3.27-mile roadway improvement project comprising approximately 2.63 miles of Silverbell Road, 0.50 mile of El Camino del Cerro, and 0.14 mile of Sweetwater Drive. The work includes four-lane roadway construction with medians, curbs, sidewalks, a multi-use path, traffic signals, street lighting, landscaping and irrigation, utility work, and drainage facilities. The solicitation is an invitation for bid using a sealed-bid process. Bids are due through the City's procurement portal on September 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time. A non-mandatory virtual pre-submittal meeting was held on August 27, 2026, and questions were due September 11, 2026.
