Description
Madison County is seeking one individual or firm to complete a master Road Index. The work includes reviewing mapped, platted, physical, and historically documented roads; researching commission minutes, resolutions, ordinances, plats, surveys, and other legal or historical records; and verifying each road's status, length, width, and access. The contractor must provide batches of verified roads with summary reports for county review. The completed Road Index must contain the verified information and be delivered both as an online interactive map and an Excel spreadsheet. Proposals must describe the proposed services, assigned staff and qualifications, relevant GIS mapping and public-records research experience, availability and timeline, conflicts of interest, proposed rate, and three references for comparable professional land-use, surveying, or research services provided within the past five years. Proposals are limited to ten single-sided pages, excluding standard business brochures, cover letters, and personnel resumes; an original and eight copies are required.
