Description
The City of Monroe is requesting proposals from a professional and licensed services firm to provide engineering and design, permitting, contractor procurement, resident construction inspection, project management, and Natural Gas Distribution Infrastructure Safety and Modernization (NGDISM) Grant administration services. The project involves replacing approximately 3.5 miles of pre-code, ineffectively coated steel natural gas main within the City's service area with new polyethylene natural gas main. The work must comply with Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration requirements and the NGDISM Grant Program. Questions must be submitted in writing by October 13, 2026, and proposals must be received in a completely sealed package by October 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
