Description
Gwinnett County is seeking a qualified contractor for the relocation of Fire Station #3. The scope includes construction of a replacement fire station building and an adjacent trailhead comfort station, along with required parking lots, trails, utilities, site work, landscaping, and related civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, communications, fire protection, and security work. The project includes a deductive alternate for eliminating an 8-foot-wide concrete sidewalk around the site. The contractor must provide a 5% bid bond with the bid; the successful contractor must provide 100% payment and performance bonds and required insurance, including a confirmed $10 million umbrella liability requirement. The roofing scope includes an SBS modified bitumen system, and all low-voltage work is assigned to the contractor. Addendum One must be acknowledged on the bid form and returned with the bid.
