Description
Gwinnett County Public Schools is soliciting competitive sealed bids for a demand-usage contract covering premium multi-grade motor oil and synthetic transmission fluid. The solicitation requires bulk and bottled motor oil for low-emission diesel engines using ultra-low-sulfur diesel fuel, with API-certified products meeting specified service categories and 15W-40 viscosity requirements. It also requires Allison TES-668-approved bulk transmission fluid for Allison 2000 and 3000 series transmissions; rerefined oil is not accepted. Estimated annual usage is 18,750 gallons of bulk motor oil, 19,000 quarts of bottled motor oil, and 3,000 gallons of bulk synthetic transmission fluid. The supplier must provide pricing based on the manufacturer's posted branded jobber price plus a percentage markup, maintain firm pricing during the initial term, provide documentation for any permitted price increases, and deliver orders within five business days. Bulk deliveries will range from 200 to 2,000 gallons and must use trucks or tankers designated for oil only. Product verification of API certification is required, and the bid must be submitted through the electronic procurement portal.
