Description
Santa Clara Valley Water District is seeking one or more qualified firms to provide on-call hazardous substance liability and environmental site assessments, asbestos-containing materials and lead-based paint surveys, remedial design and remediation support, storm water management, and related engineering services on an as-needed basis. Work may include Phase I and Phase II assessments, subsurface investigation, groundwater monitoring, environmental reports, remedial action planning and design, storm water pollution prevention planning, contractor oversight, and engineering support during construction in Santa Clara and San Benito Counties. The agreement is expected to have a five-year term with a shared aggregate not-to-exceed amount of $4,000,000, although no minimum amount of work is guaranteed. Minimum qualifications include five years of relevant experience, a California civil professional engineering license for the consultant project manager, and California Qualified Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan Developer certification for the proposer or a subconsultant. Proposals must include technical and cost submissions, with the cost proposal submitted separately as a password-protected MS Excel file; no ZIP files are accepted.
