Description
Salt Lake County seeks a contractor to provide quarterly preventive maintenance, as-needed repairs, and replacement parts for commercial washers and dryers at two jail facilities. The equipment includes Milnor, UniMac, and Huebsch machines. Preventive maintenance includes inspections, cleaning, lubrication, adjustments, and minor repairs; additional repairs require a written quote and County purchase-order authorization. The contractor must provide on-site emergency service within 10 hours, 24/7/365, and be available for an on-site diagnostic visit by the next business day after a repair request. New OEM parts are required unless the County approves alternatives. Bidders must have at least three years of experience servicing the specified brands and maintain a service facility within the stated distance requirement; the attached specifications and general requirements differ on that distance (60 miles and 30 miles, respectively).
