Description
The U.S. Army is soliciting a sole-source requirements contract for preventative maintenance, calibration, annual refresher training, technical telephone support, and non-emergency repairs for tensile and compression machines. The contractor must provide all required labor, parts, materials, tools, and equipment; perform annual maintenance and calibration in accordance with original equipment manufacturer specifications; respond to non-emergency repair calls within 72 hours; and dispatch an on-site technician within one week when telephone support cannot resolve the issue. The scope also includes over-and-above repair work, travel when authorized, service reports, and warranties for parts and materials. The contract has a five-year ordering period with a potential six-month option to extend services. Personnel performing the work must be ISO/IEC 17025 certified and fully trained, licensed, and qualified. Annual training must cover Horizon software and machine operation. The solicitation is identified as sole source to Tinius Olsen Testing Machine Company, and quotations are evaluated on price.
