Description
Granite School District seeks a prequalified general contractor for a high school addition and renovation. The work includes selective demolition; construction of new office, classroom, and athletics wings; remodeling existing office, classroom, commons, counseling, and other spaces; site improvements; and associated fire protection, fire alarm, mechanical, electrical, communications, network, and audiovisual systems. The scope also includes furnishing and installing Culinary Arts lab equipment, construction waste removal, and project closeout documentation. The response must include a project cost using the district's project bid form, a proposed project team, a Gantt-chart construction schedule, a bid bond when the response is at least $50,000, and a subcontractor list. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit are required, and only contractors prequalified under DB27-009-RFSQ may respond. The project manual identifies a planned on-site mobilization date of December 14, 2026, and a final completion deadline of July 6, 2029.
