Description
The State of California, Department of General Services, Office of State Publishing, requires a contractor to provide preventive maintenance and repair services for equipment at its Document Destruction Center. The equipment includes Ameri-Shred paper and plastic shredders, a Selco/Harris paper baler, Donaldson air handler, Atlas Copco and Ingersoll Rand air compressors, and related systems. The scope includes monthly, semiannual, and annual maintenance; foreseeable and unforeseeable repairs; parts replacement; emergency and after-hours repair availability; written repair reports; and safe cleanup and disposal of used materials. Work must be performed by authorized, trained technicians, including an Ameri-Shred-authorized technician, and the contractor must maintain applicable California contractor licenses. The agreement is anticipated to run for three years and is subject to prevailing-wage requirements. Bidders must meet a 3% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation goal and submit the required bid forms, references, proof of insurance, cost sheet, and certifications.
