Description
The City and Borough of Juneau is seeking qualified vendors to provide as-needed mechanical repair and maintenance services for heavy equipment used by its Streets & Fleet Department and other city departments. Equipment includes excavators, vacuum trucks, loaders, bulldozers, graders, pavers, dump trucks, snow-removal equipment, crane trucks, aerial lifts, and other municipal fleet assets. Vendors must demonstrate at least five years of heavy-equipment repair experience, the ability to service the identified equipment types, emergency and priority repair capability, and a minimum of three comparable client references. The selected vendors may be placed on a Quick Quote Approved Vendor List for repairs and services estimated at less than $50,000. Responses must include an experience and qualifications letter addressing technical capabilities, staffing and certifications, service capacity, response and repair turnaround times, mobile or field service capabilities, and relevant references, along with current regular, overtime, emergency, and after-hours labor rates. A completed bidder signature page, reference page, pricing schedule, and acknowledgment of the general terms and conditions are also required.
