Description
The City of Monterey is soliciting a job order contractor to provide a readily available workforce for roof repairs and remediation, removal and replacement of existing roofs, roof preparation and installation of architecturally similar roofing materials, flashing, gutters, downspouts, roof decking repairs, roof vent evaluation and installation, emergency repairs, alterations, new construction, and associated work. Work will be performed at the Presidio of Monterey and Ord Military Community. The solicitation requires electronic submission through OpenGov Procurement, with an original certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond delivered separately by the bid-bond deadline. The bid bond must equal 10% of the bid amount and satisfy specified notarization, surety-seal, and power-of-attorney requirements. The response must include the required bid schedules, declarations, certifications, bidder qualifications, subcontractor list, pricing, and applicable CARB compliance certificates. The contract has a one-year base term with two one-year renewal options and an annual not-to-exceed funding limit of $1,000,000 per period.
