Description
The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction seeks a contractor for a one-time restoration of Chiller Tower 2, a Baltimore Aircoil Company Type B.A.C. Model VT1-1125P, at Central Prison. The work includes lockout/tagout and draining; removal of three cells of PVC drift eliminators and PVC fill media; pressure cleaning and application of aluminum protective coatings; installation of new fill media; reinstallation of facility-provided drift eliminators; replacement of facility-provided PVC nozzles and O-rings; refilling and startup; and provision of dumpsters for disposal of old media and debris. The contractor must leave the work area clean and include labor, travel, disposal, and any subcontracted work in the bid price. Bidders must submit through the Ariba Sourcing Tool. Required materials include a cover letter, title page, executed bid pages, applicable addenda receipts, responses to specified requirements, pricing, customer references, financial-condition certification, and an optional EO50 price-matching request. At least three references for supplying the exact equipment model are required. Attendance at the mandatory site visit is required for bid consideration.
