Description
Saddle Mountain Unified School District is soliciting specialized transportation services for students across its schools and designated destinations. The scope includes air-conditioned vehicle transportation for special-needs and medically fragile students, including students requiring medical or behavioral aides, wheelchair accommodations, harnesses, special seating, or one-to-one support. Services also include transportation for McKinney-Vento students and students in transition, including possible wheelchair transportation, as well as curbside cancellation services. The contractor must provide qualified drivers, reserve vehicles, fuel, maintenance, local management, safety coordination, dispatching, route changes, breakdown recovery, accident reporting, background and driving-record checks, and compliance with applicable Arizona transportation and school requirements. The contract is for one year with up to four additional one-year renewal periods. Proposals must include qualifications, experience and staffing information, completed electronic questionnaire and cost form, and signed required forms.
