Description
The Correctional Service of Canada requires round-trip shuttle transportation for up to 40 Correctional Training Program recruits from its National Training Academy to firearms ranges, federal institutions, a regiment, graduation-dinner venues, and other destinations within approximately 25 kilometres of the academy. The requirement includes an estimated 225 trips per year across nine training programs, weekday service on scheduled training days, graduation-dinner transportation, and additional trips as needed. The contractor must provide one or more buses with at least 40 passenger seats, functioning seat belts, climate control, luggage storage, right-side passenger access, valid safety certificates, registration and insurance, daily cleaning, maintenance, replacement service within two hours of a breakdown, and licensed primary and backup operators. Operators must pass criminal-record checks, hold the required Ontario licence, verify passenger identification, and provide professional service. Bidders must demonstrate at least two years of relevant passenger-transportation experience within the preceding five years, submit technical, financial, and certification sections, and provide an insurance-broker or insurer letter confirming insurability.
