CITY OF BUCKEYE, ARIZONA REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) NO. 32700016 PUBLIC NOTICE The City of Buckeye is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified contractors on the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the Construction Manager at Risk(CMAR) Farallon Well No. 3 (TB #1) project. The RFQ is anticipated to be posted on the City of Buckeye's Procurement Portal website on September 17, 2026. Submittals shall be due no later than October 20, 2026, at 3:00 PM, Local Time. Description
The City of Buckeye is seeking a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) contractor for the Farallon Well No. 3 (TB #1) project and associated transmission main. The selected contractor will provide preconstruction services, including design-team participation, constructability reviews, cost estimating, value engineering, project planning, scheduling, coordination of contract documents, guaranteed maximum price development, and assistance with long-lead material procurement. Subject to subsequent agreement on one or more guaranteed maximum prices, the CMAR will furnish labor, materials, equipment, and services for construction. Construction responsibilities include construction administration and management, subcontractor qualification and bidding, construction means and methods, quality and safety management, budget and schedule control, public outreach, project closeout, commissioning, punch-list completion, warranty work, and detailed CPM scheduling. The qualifications-based submission must include project experience, key personnel and resumes, an organizational chart, the contractor’s approach to the work, a safety-program summary, experience modification rates, a project schedule, the SOQ Submittal Form, and amendment acknowledgments if applicable.
