Description
The City is seeking one or more qualified, licensed, and insured vendors to provide professional, air-conditioned, multi-passenger transportation on an as-needed basis. The scope includes public-event continuous-loop shuttles, employee and internal-event transportation, Parks and Recreation programs, summer camps, field trips, youth sports, and other city-sponsored activities. Vendors must provide appropriately sized shuttle buses, school buses, mini-coaches, motor coaches, or similar vehicles, including ADA-accessible vehicles when requested or required. The contractor must furnish vehicles, licensed and trained drivers, fuel, maintenance, dispatch, supervision, and incident response. Vehicles must be clean, safe, air-conditioned, properly maintained, and generally no more than seven model years old or 250,000 miles unless approved by the City. Drivers must hold the required Florida commercial driver licenses and passenger endorsements, complete annual Level 2 background checks, undergo compliant drug and alcohol screening, and provide courteous customer service. Proposals must address fleet information, per-trip and hourly pricing, service availability, safety and maintenance procedures, customer service, certifications, licenses, and references. The initial contract term is three years, with up to two additional one-year renewals. A performance bond is required after award, and insurance coverage must be maintained before and throughout performance.
