Description
The City of Charlotte is soliciting FY2025 Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities (Section 5310) grant applications. The program funds projects serving transit-dependent seniors and individuals with disabilities when traditional public transportation is insufficient, unavailable, or inappropriate, including transportation options beyond those required by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Eligible projects may include accessible vehicles and equipment, paratransit and other transportation services, mobility management, dispatch and communications systems, accessibility improvements, travel training, volunteer driver programs, and related transportation alternatives. The solicitation lists a proposed solution, proposal and reference forms, MWSBE and DBE forms, debarment and anti-lobbying certifications, and two questionnaire templates as required submission items. Applicants must submit an intent to bid and complete the electronic application through the procurement portal by the deadline. The attached application and program management plan provide supporting program information.
