Description
Onslow County Schools is soliciting proposals for repairs to the covered walkways at Swansboro Middle School. The base bid includes removal and disposal of approximately 215 linear feet of existing breezeway and installation of a new W-pan, 0.032-inch aluminum breezeway in accordance with manufacturer specifications. An alternate bid covers removal and replacement of approximately 25 linear feet of aluminum breezeway. The contractor must furnish all labor and equipment, perform site measurements and calculations, provide specified aluminum panels, posts, gutters, fasteners, and related components, and complete cleanup and disposal. The work includes a one-year warranty for labor, materials, and workmanship, and the contractor must coordinate the project schedule with the school district. No bid bond or performance bond is required, but insurance coverage is required under the district's contract terms.
