Description
Cape Fear Public Utility Authority is soliciting bids for on-call asphalt replacement construction services. The procurement is structured as a single-prime contract and requires bidders to be properly licensed under North Carolina General Statutes Chapter 87, with a Highway or Unclassified intermediate classification. Bidders must register with the authority and obtain the official bid documents before submitting. The submission must include the executed Affidavit and Certificate of Non-Collusion, Non-Suspension and Non-Conviction, evidence of the required contractor license, and either a five-percent bid bond or the permitted cash/certified-check deposit. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100 percent of the contract amount. Minority- and women-owned business participation and applicable FEMA requirements also apply.
