Description
Daniels & Daniels Construction Co., Inc., serving as Construction Manager at Risk for the Pender County Schools renovation of the Pender High School Food & Nutrition Lab, is seeking a prequalified subcontractor for Bid Package BP-04. The scope is a lump-sum, complete turnkey package covering thermally broken aluminum storefronts S1 and S2, delegated wind-load design, anchorage, sill flashing, perimeter sealant, a pair of medium-stile thermal entrance doors at Door 100A, tempered insulating glass, insulated infill panels, a framed DOAS duct opening, and complete door hardware. The work also includes keying coordination, field water testing with repair and retesting, protection and final cleaning, warranties, submittals, and closeout documentation. Bidders must use the provided bid form, provide base-bid, alternate-finish, unit-price, lead-time, duration, exclusions, and addenda information, and comply with site requirements including worker background checks, identification, E-Verify, insurance, hot-work controls, lead-paint RRP practices, daily cleanup, and schedule requirements. The bid is due October 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM, and the anticipated notice to proceed is November 3, 2026.
