Description
Pender County Utilities is soliciting sealed bids for construction of the US-421 Interconnect under IFB 27-002. The project includes approximately 1,000 feet of 12-inch PVC pipeline, crossing US-421 by boring and jacking, and construction of an interconnection control site. The control site work includes meter installation, double-check and gate valves, ductile-iron piping, three vaults, pump connection ports, electrical power and lighting, and a driveway. Additional appurtenances include a fire hydrant and sampling stations. Bids will be submitted by a single prime contractor on a unit-price basis. Bid security and proof of qualifications are required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
