Description
Cape Fear Public Utility Authority is soliciting bids from a single prime contractor to rehabilitate the Wrightsboro Elevated Water Tank. The work includes complete removal of the existing coatings using full containment, preparation and reapplication of a new coating system in accordance with the specifications, and a one-color blue finish. A bid deposit or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the total bid is required with submission. The successful bidder must provide construction performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. Bidders must be licensed under North Carolina General Statutes Chapter 87 with the specified Public Utility classification and must submit the executed Affidavit and Certificate of Non-Collusion, Non-Suspension and Non-Conviction.
