Description
Cape Fear Public Utility Authority is requesting statements of qualifications from consulting engineering firms for the condition evaluation and potential upgrade or replacement of Pump Station 33 Shamrock. The scope includes preliminary field investigations, a Preliminary Engineering Report, surveying, detailed design plans and technical specifications, permitting and encroachment agreements, a sewer bypass plan, bidding assistance, certified bid tabulation, and a recommendation for award. Construction-phase administration and observation may be negotiated later. The qualifications-based selection will evaluate project understanding and approach, relevant firm experience, proposed staff experience, and the consultant’s record of managing design and construction costs. The SOQ is limited to 20 pages, excluding the cover page, tabs, resumes, and appendices, and must be submitted in PDF format with a maximum file size of 25 MB. The selected consultant is expected to complete the Preliminary Engineering Report, design, permitting, and construction bidding milestones according to the stated project schedule.
