Description
Pender County Schools is seeking qualified architectural and/or engineering consultant teams to perform a comprehensive facility condition assessment, deferred-maintenance planning, and asset inventory tagging for six educational and administrative campuses. The assessment must document visible and discernible conditions across building exteriors, interiors, life-safety systems, accessibility, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, fire suppression, special construction, site utilities, vertical transportation, and stormwater systems; calculate Facility Condition Index scores; identify deficiencies; and prioritize corrective actions. The selected firm must develop cost estimates, facility reinvestment calculations, annual maintenance recommendations, a multi-year capital improvement plan, and a 10-year capital investment plan. Deliverables include draft and final reports, summary and detailed deficiency data, a deficiency database, software media and user documentation, a project schedule, schedule of values, meeting minutes, and PDF and Microsoft Excel data. The firm must also label all assets with QR codes and enter asset information into the district's FMX inventory system. Responses must describe the firm's approach, qualifications, similar projects completed within the past five years, at least three references, a sample prior deliverable, billing schedule, applicable hourly rates, and compliance with the RFQ requirements.
