Description
Ada County Highway District is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of bulk diesel and unleaded gasoline. The requirements include diesel fuel No. 1 and No. 2, dyed and clear ultra-low-sulfur diesel where applicable, unleaded gasoline with a minimum 87 octane rating, seasonal diesel blending or winter chemical treatment, fuel-quality compliance, metered deliveries, delivery tickets, bills of lading, spill-prevention measures, and delivery within two business days after an order. Pricing will use the OPIS RackFax Rack Average price for Boise, Idaho, plus the bidder’s margin and applicable taxes or fees. The contract initially covers two ACHD locations and will expand to three when the Apple Street facility becomes operational, with quantities estimated for bidding rather than guaranteed. Bidders must complete the portal questionnaire and bid schedule, acknowledge addenda, and provide required bidder information and pricing. The successful bidder may be required after award to furnish supply, material, payment, and performance bonds equal to 100% of the contract value; no bonds are required at bid submission. The agreement runs through December 31, 2027, and includes insurance, delivery, invoicing, fuel-quality, and transitional-service requirements.
