Description
Sussex County seeks a vendor to supply and deliver unbranded 10% ethanol regular unleaded 87-octane gasoline to various County fueling sites on an as-needed basis. The estimated quantity for bid evaluation is approximately 660,000 gallons over a potential three-year term, although actual quantities are not guaranteed. Deliveries must generally occur within 24 hours of notification or on scheduled weekly routes, with emergency delivery surcharges priced separately. The gasoline must comply with applicable federal and New Jersey requirements and ASTM D439, with pricing based on the OPIS Newark Low Posting plus or minus the bidder's adjustment. The vendor must deliver fuel FOB destination to County storage tanks, use metered delivery trucks, fill tanks to safe operating capacity, provide detailed delivery tickets and supporting OPIS documentation, and maintain specified insurance coverage. The contract has a one-year initial term with two additional one-year renewal options.
