Description
The SHACOG Purchasing Alliance is soliciting bids for gasoline and ultra-low-sulfur diesel fuel, including optional winter diesel, for participating municipalities and councils of governments. Gasoline must meet ASTM D4814 specifications, and diesel must meet ASTM D975 specifications for 15 ppm ULSD. Bidders must provide variable pricing based on the Pittsburgh average published in the Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) daily report, plus a fixed margin that includes transportation and other charges. The successful vendor must deliver fuel in a metered truck within two working days of an order, with delivery included in the bid pricing. Bids may cover any or all commodities. The contract period is September 25, 2026, through September 24, 2027, or until bids are next opened, whichever occurs first. A $1,000 bid bond is required unless otherwise stated, and a 100% performance bond may be required when the estimated purchase exceeds the applicable bid threshold.
