Description
The City of Boise is soliciting a formal bid for rehabilitation of two sewer diversion manholes at the Holcomb Road and East Amity Road intersection and near Yamhill Road and the Simplot Sports Complex. The work includes furnishing labor, materials, and equipment; installing two new stainless-steel slide gates; rehabilitating two existing slide gates and operating components; installing valve cans, extensions, and related hardware; and restoring the diversion structures and surrounding sites. The project also requires continuous sewer bypass pumping, including two independent dry-prime pump systems capable of handling at least 3,420 gallons per minute each, backup equipment, a qualified pump operator on site throughout bypass operations, traffic control, excavation and pavement restoration, concrete repair, coating or lining of the Amity diversion structure, landscaping and irrigation restoration, confined-space safety measures, and related submittals and testing. The contract documents state a 90-day period for substantial completion and 150 days for final completion after the Contract Times commence.
