Description
Tuolumne County is soliciting proposals for an ongoing requirements arrangement to furnish and deliver regular unleaded gasoline of at least 87 octane, No. 2 red-dyed diesel fuel, motor oils, hydraulic fluids, greases, and other petroleum products to designated County facilities. Deliveries may be routine, rush, emergency, or after-hours, including tank-wagon fuel deliveries and bulk or single-use lubricant deliveries. The contractor must maintain sufficient product supply and delivery capacity, provide current Safety Data Sheets, and comply with applicable petroleum-product transportation, handling, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The proposal must address ordering and delivery procedures, emergency fueling capability, company qualifications and resources, delivery fleet capacity, personnel, subcontractors, comparable experience, at least three similar client references from the past five years, reporting and invoicing capabilities, sample reports and invoice, and specification sheets for proposed oil and lubricant products. Pricing is based on differentials from the weekly Stockton-market OPIS rack reference for fuel; oil and lubricant pricing is fixed for 12 months, with potential modification in the second contract year. The initial contract term is two years, with up to two additional one-year extensions. Required insurance includes commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation/employer’s liability, and pollution/environmental impairment liability.
