Description
The National Forest Foundation is soliciting proposals for restoration services on the Tent Rock Forest Stewardship Project, part of the Upper Mores Project on the Boise National Forest. The work covers six harvest units totaling 102.20 acres and includes tractor-based forest thinning, felling, logging, skidding, limbing, decking, biomass removal, slash disposal, road maintenance, erosion control, and delivery of merchantable sawtimber to mills or other agreed locations. The estimated sawtimber quantity is 2,716 tons, with an optional per-acre price for felling, skidding, limbing, and decking when market conditions do not support hauling. Proposals must include a technical proposal, qualifications statement, relevant experience and projects from the past five years, three professional references, information about failed projects and current or pending legal matters, and pricing for the required work and timber removal. The anticipated period of performance is February 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029. Contractors must account for applicable forestry, safety, environmental, federal flowdown, equipment, labor, supervision, and delivery requirements.
