Description
The City of Boise is soliciting bids for the construction of an agricultural barn at the Boise City Ag Barn. The project includes ground preparation for proper grade and drainage, with base grade material supplied by the owner. Electrical work involves installation of connections, wiring, conduit, and ditch work from Tri-County Electric to the building breaker box, and powering outlets, LED lighting, and a water heater. Plumbing includes a 1-1/4" PVC water main, individual shut-off valve, two frost-free hydrants, incoming water line to a tankless water heater with inline descaler, and a water supply line to a wash rack. The building consists of a 20'x70'x12' main building with a 4" slab of 3000 psi concrete with 6x6 wire mesh, spray foam insulation (1.5" closed cell), 26-gauge tin and trim, and a 2 3/8" pipe frame. Two 10'x70'x8.5' lean-to additions are open on one side. Additional items include five 3070 walk doors, a 6'x12'x6' wash bay with two 6-foot walls, a 12' tie rail, and sloped floor, a 10' tall 12' wide commercial insulated overhead door with a Liftmaster ATS 10' chain operator, a 3'x28' concrete approach, four 24" exhaust fans, and a 3'x3' water heater closet.
