Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking quotations for two packages of sunscreen preparation under NSN 6505-01-657-9247. The product must be an over-the-counter topical sunscreen with SPF 50, containing 4.5% titanium dioxide and 4% zinc oxide; it must be sweat- and water-resistant for 80 minutes, hypoallergenic, oil-free, PABA-free, biodegradable, and designed for outdoor use. Each package must contain 24 three-ounce tubes, with a 24-month total shelf life and at least 21 months of remaining shelf life upon receipt. The product is FDA-regulated and must be commercially packaged, marked in accordance with Medical Marking Standard No. 1, and shipped FOB destination. One package is to be delivered to a military facility in Raleigh, North Carolina, and one package is to be shipped to the USS Rhode Island SSBN 740 at an FPO AE address. Delivery is required within five days after order, and domestic-material restrictions may apply.
