The Office municipal d'habitation de Montréal is soliciting a contractor for the complete demolition of Habitation 04 within the Habitations Marie-Victorin complex. The scope includes interior and exterior demolition of the building, walls, foundations, roof, stairs, and low fencing; disconnection and securing of water, sewer, electrical, and other utility services; management of contaminated materials, waste, and soils; excavation backfill and compaction; site restoration and grading; and protection of utilities serving adjacent occupied buildings. The work must be performed in two phases. The first phase covers utility disconnection and wall sealing to support permit applications, followed by an administrative pause; the second phase covers the complete building demolition. The contractor must control dust, noise, vibration, and other impacts, maintain access and functionality for adjacent buildings, and use appropriate methods to locate utility connections. The work is expected to begin after execution of the engagement letter and must be completed within a maximum of 158 working days from the confirmed start date. The procurement is identified as an open Request for Proposal with an estimated eight-month contract period.
