Description
The City of South Burlington seeks qualified vendors for a rotating towing contractor list providing wrecker, tow, and ramp-truck services on a 24-hour basis. Vendors must generally respond within 20 minutes during business hours and 30 minutes after business hours, provide required towing equipment, transport vehicles to requested locations within South Burlington, remove roadway debris, maintain required service records, and comply with Vermont wrecker-service laws. The agreement includes primary and abandoned-vehicle rotation lists, vehicle storage requirements, approved towing and related service rates, and provisions for towing City vehicles. Vendors must maintain an accessible storage facility in South Burlington or within 10 driving miles of the City's borders, may not subcontract the services, and must provide specified insurance coverage. The intended contract period is from the earliest of December 1, 2026, or contract execution, through June 30, 2028, with two one-year extension options. To qualify, vendors must submit the signed Vendor Interest Form.
