Tennessee Tech University seeks a qualified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner to provide services for students and clients served by its Center for Counseling and Mental Health Services. The scope includes psychiatric diagnostic evaluations, assessment and treatment of mental health conditions, medication prescribing and monitoring, crisis and urgent care, diagnostic referrals, client education, clinical documentation, care coordination, prescription-refill responses, and participation in continuity-of-care meetings. The PMHNP must provide onsite clinical care at the Center on Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and be available on call 24 hours per day, seven days per week through the Eagle Eye Crisis Hotline emergency line. The contractor must provide proof of registered nurse licensure, a current DEA number, and malpractice insurance. A supervising physician must be available for chart reviews and consultations, covering 20% of chart reviews and consultations per month. The contractor must also provide relevant training and education to university personnel. Bidders must submit responses to the service requirements and the completed Attachment A Cost Proposal Sheet, with pricing for weekly PMHNP services and monthly supervising physician services. Award will be based on the lowest total five-year cost among responsive and responsible bidders.
