Description
The Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency is soliciting bids for annual trash chute and discharge room cleaning, repair, sanitizing, deodorizing, inspection, and related non-hazardous waste removal services. The scope covers seven managed residential properties and includes cleaning chute interiors with 3,000-psi hot water pressure washing; cleaning intake doors, hoppers, hardware, trash rooms, discharge areas, and dumpsters; applying sanitizer and deodorizer; repairing or replacing intake doors, hopper doors, latches, hardware, and discharge doors; correcting fire-rating deficiencies; and providing before-and-after photographs, service reports, condition documentation, and repair recommendations. Bidders must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, permits, disposal costs, and applicable fees. The submission must include chemicals and corresponding Safety Data Sheets, wastewater recovery/disposal procedures, at least three comparable project references completed within the past five years, required licenses and certifications, and the specified bidder representations and subcontractor/supplier information. The anticipated initial contract term is one year, with the ability to amend two additional years; pricing is to remain firm during the contract term, subject to the stated annual escalation/de-escalation provision.
