Description
Murfreesboro City Schools is soliciting bids for the purchase, delivery, and turnkey installation of one prefabricated indoor walk-in freezer system at its warehouse. The system must include two complete, independent remote refrigeration systems providing 100% redundancy, aluminum dunnage racks, controls and alarms, lighting, defrost and drainage components, final utility connections, startup, testing, commissioning, training, cleanup, closeout documentation, and warranty service. Each refrigeration system must independently maintain -10°F under a 95°F outdoor ambient design condition. The freezer must be new, meet the detailed dimensional, thermal, sanitation, safety, and performance specifications, and be supplied with required product literature, technical data, drawings, utility requirements, performance data, and warranty information. The awarded contractor will be responsible for field verification, delivery, unloading, assembly, placement, refrigeration and final electrical connections, testing each system independently, demonstrating operation of controls and alarms, providing operating and maintenance materials, and administering warranty service. The bid requires a completed Bid Form and Price Schedule, comparable-project references, and several certifications and disclosures, including non-collusion, debarment and suspension, Byrd Anti-Lobbying, Iran Divestment Act, and conflict-of-interest certifications.
