Description
The State of Tennessee, Department of Commerce and Insurance is soliciting contractors to serve as issuing agents for building and/or electrical permits. The selected contractors will be authorized to issue permits in accordance with Tennessee regulations and will collect permit fees on behalf of the state. Issuing agent fees are up to $5.00 per electrical permit and up to $15.00 per building permit. Contractors must have a place of business in Tennessee or a contiguous state, maintain internet and email capabilities, and comply with all state requirements. The contract period and terms are detailed in the attached pro forma contracts.
