Description
Redwood Coast Regional Center is seeking proposals from a residential service provider to operate a licensed four-bedroom transitional living home in McKinleyville, California, for four adults ages 18–59 with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The provider will lease the existing property from a nonprofit housing development organization, obtain Adult Residential Facility licensure through California Community Care Licensing, and operate the home as a Staff Operated Community Care Facility under Service Code 915. The six- to twelve-month program must provide stable housing, individualized service planning, independent-living-skills instruction, connections to community resources, and support with housing, benefits, health care, employment-related services, and other needs. Proposals must address organizational experience, staffing competency and training, an independent-living curriculum, diversity and equity, client safety, a proposed start-up budget, and estimated first-year ongoing service costs. Up to $105,000 in start-up funding is available for eligible costs, including the security deposit, initial rent and utilities, staffing, furnishings, licensing, recruitment, training, and other approved service-development expenses.
