Description
The University of Akron seeks a vendor to provide physical diploma production and fulfillment alongside secure digital credential services. The scope includes a browser-based administrative portal for individual and bulk orders; diploma template proofing, printing, quality control, secure storage, packaging, shipping, tracking, replacements, and corrections; and digital credential issuance, recipient access, sharing, independent verification, revocation, and reissuance. The vendor must support secure data exchange, audit trails, reporting, accessibility, and interoperability, and disclose production, fulfillment, and subcontracting arrangements. Proposals must include a detailed implementation and transition plan demonstrating that all services can be fully implemented, tested, and operational by March 31, 2027. The contract term is three years, with a possible 120-day extension. Pricing must be submitted in U.S. dollars, FOB destination, with freight prepaid by the vendor. A Voluntary Product Accessibility Template is required from vendors providing web-accessible systems. References may be requested by the University.
