Description
METRO Regional Transit Authority is soliciting bids for a one-year supply of specified oils and fluids, including SAE 15W-40 motor oils, synthetic SAE 5W-30 motor oil, synthetic 75W-90 gear oil, synthetic automatic transmission fluids, windshield washer fluid, and lithium complex grease. Quantities are estimates and may vary. Products must meet the stated specifications or be approved as equals; bidders must submit current product cut sheets and product certification letters with their bids. The vendor must provide bulk delivery and packaged drums as specified, install or maintain the required pumps, monitor bulk-fluid levels and arrange weekly or as-needed automatic refills, and remove empty 55-gallon drums. The contract is for January 1 through December 31, 2027. The bid is awarded to one vendor, and the solicitation requires a bid guarantee equal to 5% of the bid price.
