Description
The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) is issuing a Letter of Interest (LOI) to gather feedback from suppliers on the provision of Community Residential Facilities (CRFs) for federal offenders released on conditional release, statutory release, or subject to Long-Term Supervision Orders. The CRFs provide 24-hour residential services including accommodation, meals, monitoring, general support, and assistance to facilitate offenders' reintegration into the community. Services may include life skills teaching, employment support, crisis intervention, and referrals to community resources. Suppliers must have at least two years of experience within the last five years working with adult offenders on conditional release and providing accommodation in a residential setting. The contract is typically for one year with option years, and work is on an as-and-when-requested basis. Security clearances and commercial general liability insurance of at least $2,000,000 per occurrence are required.
