Description
The Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families is seeking information from prospective agencies, organizations, housing providers, and other interested parties about integrating its Independent Living Skills Program and Foster Care Housing Program for eligible transition-age youth. The future service model would combine housing stabilization and navigation, independent living skills, financial literacy, education and career advancement, case management, counseling, crisis intervention, and strategies for serving youth who are waiting for services or experiencing housing instability. The proposed model would use three flexible service tiers: on-demand access, standard support with recurring virtual and in-person meetings, and intensive support for youth experiencing homelessness or imminent housing instability. Responses will inform a future competitive procurement and will not result in a contract award. Respondents must provide vendor name, address, and contact information and answer all questions in the attached Appendix A; optional brochures or other PDFs may also be submitted. All communications and participation occur through the Washington Electronic Business Solution, with registration required.
